ENL TEACHER POSITION AVAILableREQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be NYSED ESOL Certified.The TESOL professional will deliver high-quality English instruction to non-native speakers, enhancing proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This role involves creating an engaging and supportive environment, delivering well-structured lessons, and assessing student progress. Cultural competency is essential to ensure inclusive and respectful teaching practices that reflect students' diverse backgrounds. Instructional Planning, Delivery & Assessment:Design and deliver dynamic, student-centered lessons tailored to learners' linguistic needs.Utilize diverse teaching methods, including multimedia, group activities, and real-world applications.Effectively integrate technology to enhance learning.Regularly evaluate student progress through various assessments.Provide constructive feedback to support ongoing improvement.Maintain accurate records of performance and attendance.Knowledge of NYSITELL and NYSESLAT assessments.Curriculum Development & Collaboration:Collaborate to develop and refine curriculum materials aligned with program goals.Adapt content and approaches to suit different proficiency levels and learning styles.Contribute to program development by sharing best practices and ideas.Demonstrated experience working with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Skills:Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to support learning.
