PPS Position Available Position: (1) Specially Designed Reading instructor for Special Education K-6SEPTEMBER 2023Requirements/Qualifications: NYSED Elementary Level Special Education Certification RequiredNYSED Reading Certification Required OR Candidate must demonstrate expertise in working with students with reading disabilities. Provide specialized reading instruction to students Strong understanding of literacy content and methodology to address the diverse needs of students Ability to assess, develop, adapt, differentiate, and implement instruction tailored to students’ IEP goalsWork collaboratively with CSE to ensure development of IEP goals and objectivesFamiliarity with Frontline to complete IEPs Maintain student data. Coordinate activities with teachers, parents and members of the CSE team Serve as liaison to the PPS Department.
