The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the data needs of NYS school districts and the New York State and Federal accountability requirements. Qualifications: Master’s Degree and NYS Certification, SDA, SDL or Internship Certificate (see attached job description for additional qualifications)Salary: Per RVA Contract General Responsibilities: Responsible for leading data services for the school districtMaintains data collection and data use systemsActs as Data Privacy Officer for the districtVerification of state reporting and accountability informationCoordinating district data management and analysisWorks closely with building and department leaders for the purpose of analyzing and interpreting data as it affects instructionProvides reports from various systems creating customized reports and/or supporting the use of data dashboards and assessment tools [Infinite Campus, Illuminate, Level 1 and 2]Provides training in assessment tools and facilitating data inquiry conversations Assists building and department leaders to utilize data related to successful implementation of Multi-Tiered System of SupportsResidency VerificationExercises sound judgment and appropriate discretion in the administration of professional dutiesPerforms other related duties as may be assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Schools and Operations Supervises: District Registrar and Student Registration Process Rondout Valley Central School District encompasses more than 150 square miles of rural landscape.
