The Rome City School District is accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent of Instruction. Selected candidate shall possess a valid NYS School District Leader Certification (or SDA); Selected candidate will have demonstrated success as a district administrator, experience supervising and evaluating principals, in-depth understanding of PreK-12 curriculum development and coordination, knowledge of NYS Education Department mandates and requirements, expertise leading effective implementation of professional learning, experience in budget development that supports an effective instructional program, and expertise in leading continuous school improvement to ensure all students learn at high levels.
