The North Rockland (Haverstraw-Stony Point) Central School District is seeking candidates for a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position for the 2025-2026 school year. This position includes a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Valid NYS teaching certification or NYS certification as a School Psychologist, School Social Worker or School Counselor, as well as certification as a BCBA is required. Experience working as a BCBA for 3 years in a school setting is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work with a variety of students in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction. PROFESSIONAL DUTIES:Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis, using both discrete trial training and natural environment training models of teachingFacilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for students, their teachers and their familiesAssist in the development and implementation of assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviorsMeet as needed with staff members to discuss ongoing student issues and to provide support when necessary
