The North Rockland (Haverstraw-Stony Point) Central School District is seeking candidates for the position of School Bus Driver /Custodial Worker. This is a full-time 12-month position that includes a regionally competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. All candidates must meet the Rockland County Civil Service minimum requirements.PROFESSIONAL DUTIES:Support Family Resource Coordinators with pantry and boutique setup, distribution, and maintaining clean, organized spacesPick up, transport, and distribute food donations to school pantries and families, including home delivery when neededPick up, collect, organize, and assist with the distribution of donated clothing, furniture and household items through school boutiques Provide safe and timely transportation for families to district meetings, workshops, and events using a district vehiclePerform routine custodial duties, including moving and setting up furniture and classroom equipment, disposing of trash, cleaning pantry and classroom areas (sweeping, washing floors, dusting/washing tables), assisting with outdoor work (e.g., sweeping sidewalks, shoveling snow)REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years of licensed driving experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior cleaning experience; Bilingual (fluent in Spanish)
