The North Rockland (Haverstraw-Stony Point) Central School District is seeking candidates for probationary Pre-Kindergarten Teacher positions for the 2024-2025 school year. These are full-time positions which include a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Valid NYS certification in Pre-K-6 and/or Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) is required. Candidates with dual teaching certification and/or who are bilingual (fluent in Spanish) preferred.Professional Responsibilities:Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pre-K curriculum and learning standardsUse varied instructional techniques to engage all students and accommodate diverse learning stylesUtilize various assessment methods to monitor student performance Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment to support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of studentsCollaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet individual needs of all learnersFoster and maintain open communication with families regarding student progress
