The North Rockland (Haverstraw-Stony Point) Central School District is seeking candidates for anticipated Learning Loss Interventionist positions at the elementary and middle school level for the 2022-2023 school year which includes a regionally competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Valid NYS certification in Pre-K-6 or Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6), Special Education, Reading or Literacy (Birth - Grades 6) is required. Candidates who are trained in PAF, Orton Gillingham, Hochman, and/or other multisensory programs preferred. This position will support each grade band in their recovery of academic loss by providing Tier 3 interventions in reading and mathematics to students at risk who may not have been able to access instruction consistently during COVID-19. These interventions will also serve to cover any compensatory services owed due to learning loss or regression.
