The North Rockland (Haverstraw-Stony Point) Central School District is seeking candidates for the anticipated position of CSE Chairperson for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a full time 11-month probationary position which includes a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. NYS Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities, Speech/Language, or as a School Psychologist is required. Bilingual candidates (fluent in Spanish) are encouraged to apply. Preferred qualifications include the following:A minimum of three years of experience in special education and/or related services in a school or District settingThorough knowledge of CSE guidelines and regulations as related to Special Education servicesStrong understanding of commonly used educational and cognitive assessments Previous experience leading and/or participating as a member of CSE meetingsAbility to deal effectively with a variety of people and problem solve Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written and digital) Knowledge of ENL
