Roslyn High School is seeking a Dean of Students to join our administrative team. This is a full-time probationary administrative position dedicated to supporting a positive school climate, guiding students in their academic and personal growth, and overseeing key aspects of daily school life. The Dean of Students will work closely with the Principal, Assistant Principals, faculty, and staff to help every student feel connected, supported, and successful at Roslyn High School.Anticipated Start Date: On or about November 21, 2025Requirements:Valid New York State School Building Leader (SBL), School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS), or School District Administrator (SDA) certification required.Demonstrated success in teaching, student support, or leadership, with a record of fostering student growth and accountability.Strong skills in relationship-building, communication, and organization.Commitment to working collaboratively with the administrative team to foster a supportive school community grounded in high academic achievement and student well-being.Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and community, ensuring that all students feel a strong sense of belonging.Proven capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness.Willingness to work beyond the traditional school day as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support supervision, student events, and school programs.Responsibilities/Functions:Serve as the primary contact for student attendance, discipline, and eligibility, with an emphasis on accountability, growth, support, and ensuring consistency in expectations and practices.Build strong relationships with students and families to promote engagement, belonging, and success.Support student culture through assemblies, programming, and mentorship opportunities, including participation in key school events.Oversee daily supervision schedules and assist with general building operations.Manage student logistics such as IDs, lockers, Chromebooks, and parking.Collaborate with administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure a safe and supportive school community.Compensation:Per RASA Contract, Salary range from $123,000 - $143,000 (commensurate with experience)
