Salary Range is $164,000-$184,000 (based on experience).Valid SDA or SDL certification required;Special Education Teacher Certification;Minimum of 5 years of experience in special education administration;Knowledge of CSE/CPSE processes and regulations including county, state and federal laws;Familiarity with budgeting, grants, and state reporting in special education;Strong leadership and communication skills;Ability to develop and implement innovative programs to support students with diverse needs;Primary Duties (not limited to): Oversee and manage all aspects of the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) programsSection 504 Compliance OfficerMedicaid Officer- ensure compliance with Medicaid ProgramDevelop and manage budgets, grants, and state reporting related to special education servicesProvide supervision and guidance to special education staff, mental health staff, related service providers, and school nurses, including our district medical directorSupervision of central office registrar/registrationDrive innovation by creating programs that effectively address the diverse needs of all studentsQualified candidates must apply through OLAS.
