The Coordinator of Teaching and Learning will serve as a key member of the Curriculum and Instruction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instructional programs align with district standards and initiatives, and will work collaboratively with school and district leaders and staff to support student achievement.Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction to develop and implement comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state standards and supports student learning across all grade levels.Instructional Support: Provide ongoing support and coaching to teachers and instructional leaders in the implementation of the district's programs, curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.Professional Learning: Plan and facilitate professional learning that supports the ongoing growth and development of teachers and instructional leaders.Data Analysis: Analyze student and staff performance data to identify areas of strength and in need of attention and work with teachers and administrators to develop action plans for improvement. Program Evaluation: Conduct ongoing evaluations of instructional programs to ensure that they are effective in supporting student learning and achievement.Qualifications:Masters degree and School District Administrator license. At least five years of experience as a teacher or instructional leader.Experience with evidence-based instructional practices, professional and student learning, and current science-based research in education.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
