The following is an anticipated vacancy for the 2023/24 school year: Rockville Centre School District is seeking a highly talented and creative Business Education Teacher to join our fast-growing and progressive Business department. Our department currently offers a wide-range of business electives including Career and Financial Management, college-level Marketing, Accounting, and Business Law. Our capstone courses include IB Business Management. We also pride ourselves in our strong and fast growing DECA chapter of over 120 students competing at the International level. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State certification in Business and Marketing EducationApplicants must be appropriately certified prior to the start of employment.Demonstrated excellence in teaching.Knowledge in research-based teaching and learning best practices.Knowledge of Google Classroom and instructional technology.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
