POSITION: Director of BusinessCERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS:New York State Certification as a District Administrator – SDL/SDBL preferredCPA preferredMaster’s degree in related fieldSchool district, BOCES or relevant private sector business experiencePERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees the compilation of an annual budgetDesigns financial, cost and reporting procedures and specialized cost and analytical reportsRecognizes and meets financial obligations of the BOCES including, but not limited to: payroll, accounts payable, lease obligations and disbursements of state aid and balances to component districtsEnsures that all financial records of BOCES and those filed by the component districts are available, accurate and comprehensiveAny additional duties as assigned by the District Superintendent and/or Deputy Superintendent or their designees.Demonstration of strong written communication skills, effective time management and organization is essentialBilingual and/or Minority Candidates are encouraged to apply.
