POSITION: Principal – District Based Secondary Program (FTE 1.0) CERTIFICATION: NYS Administrative Certification (SAS, SBL, or SDA) requiredSpecial Education certification or comparable certification required.Qualifications:Exemplary record as a school administrative leader and teacher.Expertise working with students with special needs.Experience with student transition from school to post-secondary.Demonstrated expertise in the use of achievement data as a program and instructional evaluation tool.A collaborative and inclusive approach with colleagues, students, parents, and the community.Proven ability to inspire staff and students to achieve excellence.Ability to develop schedules for a variety of staff, students, and programs.Experience in teacher and support staff observations and evaluations.Ability to work well as a member of an administrative leadership team.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Organizational skills and computer proficiency a must.
