POSITION: Principal - anticipated CERTIFICATION: NYS Administrative Certification (SAS, SBL, or SDA) required Special Education certification or comparable certification required. Qualifications: Experience working with students with developmental disabilities, autism, physical impairments, and medical fragility Experience with /or understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis Experience with /or understanding of the TEACCH/Structured Teaching methodology Exemplary record as a school administrative leader and teacher Proven ability to inspire staff and students to achieve excellence and promote a positive school environment Experience with/or understanding of Multi -Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Expertise in curriculum development, supervision and evaluation of staff and programs A collaborative and inclusive approach with colleagues, students, parents, and the community A hands-on commitment to the success of all students and a willingness to advance a program predicated on equity of access for all students Expertise working with parents and a track record of quality community engagement Experience with student transition from school to adult programming To learn more about our Rockland BOCES click the link: https://www.rocklandboces.org Please ensure your OLAS application is complete, and references are current.
