Rockland BOCES has a vacancy in our Adult Education program. POSITION: Adult Education Instructor- – Case Manager for Bridge to Careers Grant Funded Program Responsibilities:Conducts intake and assessments for potential participantsApproves, monitors and oversees participants in the Bridge to Careers program (125 per year)Participates in trainings for testing, case management and SUNY Career Kits. Also sits on Program Improvement Committee with direct supervisorMaintains detailed records of meetings with participants, intake forms, attendance and performance measures as per necessary to the grantInterfaces with teachers in other classes to advertise services and with career center staff to deliver servicesDevelops and maintains good communication with all of BOCES’ programs to facilitate interagency referrals and collaborations.Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field such as School Counseling, School Psychology, Education, or Social Work preferred. NYSED certification in the areas listed or Adult Education certification required. WORK YEAR: 12 month- part timeBilingual and Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
