Qualifications:State Education Department Certification - SDA (School District Administrator)Minimum of three years’ administrative experience, with Central Office level work preferredTerms of Employment:12-month employeeTerms & ConditionsPerformance Responsibilities:Chief Information Officer (CIO)Manages and oversees eSchool, which entails assisting employees with problems, updates, training, access rights, security, auditing, parent and student access and making sure users are using and entering data properly.Responsible for submitting data to State and Federal educational departments that include but not limited to: staff, students, student programs, attendance, master schedules, discipline, grades, assessments, graduation and enrollment.Oversees all New York student assessments and quality control for all components. Responsible for ensuring all testing requirements are met, collecting and reviewing student exams and rosters. Posting test results and analyzing and reporting student outcomes. Experience with the preparation and understanding various state and federal reports such as SAMS, BEDS, SIRS, CRDC, NYSSIS, PD, L2RPT and others. Responsible for implementing and managing various software vendors and programs for the District. Setting up and maintaining synchronizing data between systems. Liaise with District software vendors and establishes a close working relationship. Work closely with and understanding each departments operations and data responsibilities. Including but not limited to PPS, registration, each LEA main office and health office, transportation, food services, ENL department and security department.Liaise with various agencies and LEAs such as private, charter and parochial schools, BOCES, migrant education department, state tutorial and support services, Riverhead Incarcerated Youth Program, Riverhead Community Awareness Program Inc.Knowledgeable in BOCES/RIC student data service systems including Level 0, ReportNet, BARS, and ASAP.
