Executive Director of Elementary EducationQualifications:State Education Department Certification - SDA (School District Administrator) or SDLMinimum of three years administrative experiencePerformance Responsibilities:The Executive Director for Elementary Education is a cabinet-level position that reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction and the Superintendent of Schools. The Executive Director of Elementary Education shall have general responsibility for all aspects of the development, implementation, and update of the elementary education curriculum. S/he will also supervise all elementary educational programs and services, including but not limited to Universal Pre-Kindergarten, K-6 Instruction, in-service programs, student registration, special curriculum programs, grant administration, testing, etc.Additional Responsibilities:Ensure that the district follows all rules and regulations pertaining to Section 504 of the Federal Law.Design and coordinate research projects as assigned by the Board of Education, the Superintendent or as otherwise indicated.Assist with the coordination of the Superintendent’s Conference Days and opening day program.Meet regularly with service providers of special programs.Establish and maintain standards for the professional committee activities.Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent of SchoolsTerms of Employment:12-month employeeTerms & ConditionsTitle: Executive Director of Elementary Education (Probationary Appointment)Location: Pupil Personnel ServicesSalary: $190,000.00Reports To: Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and the Superintendent of SchoolsAll interested applicants may apply on OLAS and also must send a letter of interest and resume no later than June 21, 2024 to:Dr. Vincent K.
