Responsible for following the lesson plan, providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning.Substitute teaching assistants support instruction and other student needs in assigned classrooms in the absence of regular teaching assistants. Responsible for providing services to students under the general supervision of a teacher.Minimum Qualifications:Substitute Teacher and/or Teaching Assistants-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, unofficial transcripts, certification issued by the New York State Education Department (optional).Substitute Teaching Assistants-High School Diploma or GED, valid Teaching Assistant certification issued by the New York State Education DepartmentSalary: Certified Teachers - $120.00 per dayNon-Certified Teachers - $105.00 per dayTeaching Assistants - $105.00 per dayNo Benefits.Substitutes that work as a Substitute Teacher and/or Substitute Teaching Assistants will receive a $250.00 bonus if they work a minimum of 10 days during the month.Interested parties are to submit a letter of interest, resume, District Application and three current professional references preferably through OLAS, or mail to:Rhinebeck Central School DistrictAttn: Personnel DepartmentP.O.
