NYS certified School Counselor (0.5 FTE) needed for a high performing district committed to the interpersonal, academic, social, and emotional development of its students. Effective date: 9/1/2026. The Elementary School Counselor supports the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of all students. This role involves providing individual and small-group counseling, delivering classroom lessons aligned with school counseling standards, and collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to foster a safe and supportive learning environment. The counselor also helps students build coping skills, navigate challenges, and develop positive relationships to support overall well-being and school success.
