Red Hook Schools are seeking two enthusiastic and culturally responsive Spanish Teachers for a full-time, tenure-track probationary positions beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for candidates who brings energy and creativity to world language instruction and embraces student-centered, proficiency-based learning. The ideal teachers will cultivate authentic communication skills and foster an appreciation for diverse cultures and global perspectives. Responsibilities: Teach secondary Spanish courses Design immersive, communication-driven lessons aligned with NYS standards Promote student voice, engagement, and real-world language application Integrate cultural exploration into daily instruction Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and achievement Qualifications: Valid NYS certification in Spanish (7–12) Commitment to student-centered and proficiency-based instruction Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills Passion for global learning and cultural awareness We are seeking teachers who will inspire students to see language learning as a gateway to connection and opportunity.
