The Remsen Central School District is in search of a highly qualified and enthusiastic Library Media Specialist with a passion for igniting a love of learning and reading in students grades PK-12. Prerequisites include exceptional character, a strong work ethic, a love for children and the joy of learning, commitment to personal and professional growth, enthusiasm for elementary and high school students, and a desire to be a part of and contribute positively to the Remsen team. Valid New York State Library Media Specialist certification is required. Our rural school district is nestled in the foothills of the Adirondacks with an enrollment of approximately 430 wonderful students preK-12. Beautiful countryside, farms, small businesses, the Arts Center, the Didymus Thomas Library, the Remsen Depot, the Barn Festival of the Arts, and genuinely good, hard-working people, make Remsen a wonderful place to live and work.
