Starting 9/1/25 - RCS is looking for a dynamic Elementary Special Education Teacher to fill a long-term leave of absence starting on 9/1/25 to approximately December 3, 2025. The successful candidate should be passionate about teaching and learning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated to helping all students succeed. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in “school community,” and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded. Candidate will be expected to:• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly classroom Environment.• Provide both academic and behavioral support using a multi-tiered approach (ie. RtI, PBIS) • Communicate with families, other school staff, school administration, and students on student Progress.• Create pathways for students to be career and community aware; promoting a strong sense of civic mindedness. • Utilize Google classroom.Qualified applicants must have Students with Disabilities 1-6 or K-12 certification.
