The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is looking for a long-term (through 6/30/24) middle school building substitute Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, creative and engaging in the classroom, and dedicated to providing specially designed instruction to meet the needs of all students. Candidates should be innovative in practice, have a strong value in the school community, and have vision in preparing our students to be civic-minded. Successful candidates should be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families to help students reach high levels of success. Candidates must be able to teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, math, and social studies.This position will serve district-wide classroom needs. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work in multiple classrooms settings. Proper NYS Childhood Education 1-6 or 7-12 certification preferred. Candidates currently pursuing certification or hold NYS certification in a different content are are encouraged to apply. Salary will reflect Step 1 of the RCSTA contract and include full benefits
