Red Creek Central School District is seeking an elementary reading teacher with probationary status. Job Description:The elementary reading teacher position involves UPK-5 reading development designed to provide a systematic school-wide approach to literacy instruction. This position aims to ensure high-level literacy achievement for every child throughout the district. This will best be accomplished by a well-defined problem-solving process grounded in data analysis and professional learning communities. Qualifications:* Current elementary teaching license* Exemplary literacy background* Reading recovery and/or leveled literacy intervention training (Preferred)* Master's Degree preferred* Demonstrated leadership skills in professional practice* Demonstrated skills in listening, communicating and collaborating* Life-long learner with knowledge of current best practices that improve student learning* Strong knowledge in cultural responsive teaching
