Questar III BOCES, a leading regional provider of educational and administrative shared services to school districts, has an opening for the position of Director of CommunicationsThe Director of Communications will serve as the leader of a team of public information professionals. The function of the Director position is to both supervise and provide quality communication services to school districts and the BOCES, including working with and directly supporting those in the field. The Director is authorized to produce and publish materials for oral, written, and visual presentation, as well as initiate and maintain positive contact with customers inside and outside the organization.Applicants must possess a minimum of 5-7 years of direct and related work in the field of public sector communications, and a Bachelor's Degree in media technology, journalism, communications, public affairs, public relations, marketing, English or closely related field.Interested candidates should apply via OLAS or by emailing their resume with a cover letter and references to employment@questar.org.
