Starting 9/1/23 – Questar III BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time (10-month school schedule) Food and Nutrition Teacher position to support the Introduction to Foods program at our Donald R. Kline Technical School in Hudson, NY. Introduction to Food Services prepares students for entry level positions within the food service industry. Students are engaged in academic and practical hands-on lessons and learn a variety of preparation and food skills. Students will be provided with an opportunity to work in an approved commercial site during school hours.Candidates must possess or be willing to pursue a NYS teaching certification through the Transitional Certification process in Culinary Careers. Applicable work experience will qualify an applicant to pursue NYS certification through the non-traditional Transitional A teacher pathway (advanced degrees are not required).
