Questar III BOCES has an immediate need for a full-time Business Office Technician (Civil Service Title: Senior Account Clerk) located at our Central Office in Castleton, NY. This position will contribute to the effective and efficient operation of our Business Office by performing tasks including but not limited to: preparation of payroll, processing accounts payable, preparation of any billings related to the department, processing purchase orders, , grant preparation, development of financial or statistical reports, and other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EitherA) Graduation from a New York State registered or regionally accredited college or university with an associate's degree in accounting, business or a closely related field; orB) Completion of 60 credit hours at a New York State registered or regionally accredited college or university which must have included at least twelve credit hours in accounting or bookkeeping; orC) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years of experience maintaining financial accounts and records;The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills with advanced Microsoft Office skills.Questar III prefers an online application, please apply at www.olasjobs.org/capital.
