Starting Immediately – Questar III BOCES announces a probationary administrative vacancy for a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator. This is a dynamic administrative position that will join our CTE leadership team. We are seeking a passionate leader committed to working with school districts in Rensselaer, Columbia, and Greene counties to support the preparation and success of the students we serve. The Career and Technical Education Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent, CTE and Innovative Programs and CTE Principals on the intake process for CTE & Career Studies programs, as well as on the CTE Program Approval and Re-Approval process. The position will also coordinate the annual technical assessment process. The Coordinator will communicate with school district counselors, CSE chairs, and business officials as well as with the Questar III Special Education office throughout the Career Tech and Career Studies intake process; work together with the Special Education staff for addressing the needs of Special Education students attending CTE & Career Studies programs, as well as collaborate with the Career and Technical Education leadership team to develop and implement the yearly Perkins Grant. It will conduct teacher observations as needed.This position requires New York State SBL or SDL administrative certification and demonstrated successful experience working with CTE programs.
