Questar III BOCES is seeking a part-time (.4 FTE) Technology Teacher to work with high school students at the Questar III and HVCC STEM High School. This position is ideal for a technology teacher that has familiarity with developing projects around computer coding, engineering, physics, and 3D printing. The teacher will run several pathways in STEM courses in a recently expanded maker-space complete with cutting edge technology. Candidates with excellent communication skills and collaboration skills are encouraged to apply. This position will work to build relationships with industry professionals and connections with HVCC faculty members to develop opportunities for students. STEM HS will be in its second year and serves high school students throughout the capital region. Students earn their high school diploma while also working toward earning their Associates degree in a STEM field from HVCC. This school is a rigorous program that is geared towards real world problem solving skills, forging connections with industry professionals and exposing students to 21st century skills. Innovative teachers who enjoy working in a team environment are ideal candidates.
