Starting 9/1/22 - Questar III BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time probationary New Visions Teacher to teach the Scientific Research & World Health program located at UAlbany’s Health Sciences Campus in Rensselaer, NY. This program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore cutting edge biomedical research and explore pressing global health concerns. It is located at UAlbany’s Health Sciences Campus in Rensselaer. Students engage in hands-on research experiences in a state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratory and will participate in multiple rotations throughout the year with scientific specialists and public health professionals from academia, private industry and governmental agencies. The primary focus of the program is to develop strong habits of the professional scientific mind. Qualified candidates must be an experienced Scientist in biological sciences who understands the importance of inquiry-based research in the broad arena of human health and biomedical advances. Candidates must be willing to pursue NYS Teacher certification.
