Questar III BOCES has an immediate opening for a full-time (12-month schedule) Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBERN) Specialist located at our central office in Castleton, NY. The RBERN is funded by a contract through the New York State Education Department to provide quality technical assistance and embedded professional development to school districts in the RBERN region. New York State professional or permanent ESOL Teacher certification and experience working with ENL students required. Qualified candidates must have an excellent understanding of NYS standards / assessments and experience providing professional development. Preferred applicants will have experience in differentiated instruction, data driven instruction and knowledge of CR Part 154, Title III, and best practices for instructing ELLs.
