School Lunch/Recess Monitor(s)Anticipated Part-Time Position(s)The Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for school lunch/recess monitor(s) at our elementary school, working with students in grades kindergarten through 4th grade.The responsibilities include supervising, monitoring, connecting, and engaging with students during lunch and indoor/outdoor recreation periods throughout the school year; maintaining student safety during play and meal time, attending to any safety concerns and class management; and performing other duties as assigned by the building principal.A high school diploma and experience working with children is desirable.Benefits of joining Putnam Valley Schools as a lunch/recess monitor:The position follows the school calendar – September through June. Work is completed when school is in session - Monday through Friday.No work during holiday, winter, and Spring recess periods. No work during July & August!Anticipated daily hours are: 10:45 AM - 1:25 PM or 11:20 AM - 2:00 PM.Hourly salary range is $17.53 - $31.86Annual salary step increases.
