(To be determined.)The Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a school lunch/recess monitor(s) at our elementary school. The responsibilities include supervising, monitoring, connecting, and engaging with students during lunch and indoor/outdoor recreation periods throughout the school year; maintaining student safety during play and meal time, attending to any safety concerns and class management; and performing other duties as assigned by the building principal.A high school diploma and experience working with children is desirable.The position follows the school calendar – September through June. Work is completed Monday through Friday, and the anticipated daily hours are: 10:45 AM - 1:25 PM OR11:15 AM - 1:55 PM.The CSEA (Civil Service Employees Association) collective bargaining negotiated hourly salary range is $17.53 - $31.86, with annual salary step increases.
