This is manual work of a routine nature requiring efficient performance of simple repetitive cleaning and minor maintenance tasks. Work is performed under direct supervision. Performs related work as required.Typical work activities:Cleans building by sweeping, dusting, washing, mopping, waxing and vacuuming.Assists in snow removal.Assists in minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.Sets up & takes down furniture for assemblies and special meetings.Gathers and disposes of refuse.Replaces ceiling tiles, light bulbs and filters.Performs a variety of related duties.Works overtime when needed.This is a 12-month position. Anticipated work schedule is Monday through Friday, and the anticipated daily hours are 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. A high school diploma is preferred.The CSEA (Civil Service Employees Association) collective bargaining negotiated annual salary range of $36,975 - $58,123; with annual salary step increases.
