CleanerThe Putnam Valley Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a cleaner to support our Operations Department.Under direct supervision typical work activities include:Cleaning school buildings by sweeping, dusting, washing, mopping, waxing and vacuuming.Assisting with snow removal.Assisting in minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.Setting up and taking down furniture for assemblies and special meetings.Gathering and disposing of refuse.Replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs and filters.Working overtime when needed.Performing a variety of related activities as required.Qualifications:Physically capable to perform duties of the job.Complete required fingerprint and background check.Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.High School Diploma preferred.Experience in building cleaning is preferable.This position is a 12-month position, 40 hours per week, with 30 minutes for lunch.The anticipated start date is September/October 2022.Health, dental, vision, vacation, sick and personal benefits available.Apply today!The Putnam Valley Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
