Director of Mathematics, Business, and Computer Science PreK- 12 - Probationary Position Probationary Position Start Date: July 1, 2026 Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide leadership for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the district's PreK-12 mathematics; business, and computer science programs. The position supports instructional excellence, curriculum alignment and student learning across all grade levels. Working collaboratively with the Director of Elementary Curriculum, building administrators, instructional coaches and teachers, the Director ensures that the mathematics program is coherent and aligned with the NYS Learning Standards and district priorities. QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION: Education a. Master's Degree in related field. Doctorate preferred. 2. Experience a. At least five years of math teaching experience is required. b. Prior administrative experience preferred. 3. Certification a. NYS Teaching Certificate (Mathematics) b. NYS SDL or SDA Certification TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month position Salary and terms as per the Association of Public School Administrators (APSA) contract
