SCHREIBER High School Mathematics Teacher Courses: Algebra I, Algebra II, Financial AlgebraResponsibilities:Develop and implement engaging lessons aligned with the NYS Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards and mathematics curriculum.Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance vertical and horizontal alignment.Communicate effectively with students, parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and expectations.Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and NYS standards.Qualifications:-NYS certification in mathematics 7-12-Strong knowledge of NYS Next Generation Mathematics Learning Standards-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing positively to collective goals-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with students, parents, guardians, and colleagues-Commitment to equity and inclusivity in education Preferred Qualifications:Experience teaching mathematics at the high school levelExperience integrating technology into classroom instruction
