KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Instructional Leadership: Teach two science classes, bringing passion, expertise, and innovative teaching strategies to the classroomDepartment Oversight: Conduct regular observations of department faculty, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance instructional effectivenessProfessional Development: Lead and organize professional development activities for the Science Department, ensuring that faculty are up-to-date with standards and best practicesCollaborative Planning: Work closely with department faculty, department chairs, and building administration to coordinate curricular initiatives, share best practices, and discuss strategic planning for school-wide academic goalsInclusive Environment: Champion a culture of inclusivity within the department, encouraging diverse perspectives and ensuring that curriculum and teaching practices are equitable and accessible to all studentsCurriculum Development: Oversee the development and implementation of the science curriculum, ensuring it meets state standards and supports students' academic growth and interest in scienceStart Date: September 1, 2024
