The following School Counselor position is Probationary:The Port Washington School District is seeking a talented and experienced candidate for a Post Secondary Counselor. The preferred candidate will have strong knowledge of post-secondary pathways and trends, as well as adolescent development and strong written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities include:Provide specialized assistance and information concerning college and career planningProvide ongoing student workshops on various topics related to college and careers Coordinate with the College Board testing accommodations for students with disabilitiesProvide career and college entrance information and assistance to students, teachers and parentsCoordinate all on-site visits, career days, job fairs, and college fairs.Other responsibilities as directed by Director of GuidanceStart Date: August 31, 2023
