General Statement of Duties: The Literacy Instructional Coach will collect and monitor data specific to literacy goals and activities, plan and conduct professional development sessions, push in to classes to model and facilitate best practices in the realm of literacy instruction, communicate instructional best practices with instructional staff and administration, and oversee curriculum mapping for 7-12 literacy (ELA).Desired Qualifications: Minimum 5 years as a classroom or AIS teacherKnowledge of Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshops and Wilson Reading ProgramThorough knowledge of 7-12 ELA standards Experience with curriculum review and writingExperience planning and conducting professional development workshopsExperience with data dashboards and data analysis
