QUALIFICATIONS: Appropriate NYSED certification such as School Business Administrator / School District Administrator or the ability to obtain a Civil Service classification of School Business Manager I. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities may include the direct supervision of the Business Office, School Lunch Program, Maintenance, Custodial, and Transportation departments. Major responsibilities will include: acting as an advisor to the Superintendent on all business and financial questions, lead and manage the finances of the district, develop and lead the annual budget development process and form the budget document, budget presentations, budget newsletters, interpret the financial concerns of the district to the community, supervise all non-instructional services personnel, participate in negotiations with collective bargaining units, purchasing agent for the district, insurance coordinator, coordinator of district safety programs, and benefits coordinator.
