Port Jefferson Special Education Extended School Year Program*Position(s) contingent upon student enrollment.Anticipated Position(s): Teaching Assistants Qualifications: Teaching Assistant certification required. Experience preferred. Location: Edna Louise Elementary School Salary: In accordance with the negotiated agreement with the United Paraprofessionals’ Association of Port Jefferson. Effective: July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (anticipated) Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.Responsibilities:•Assist classroom teachers in implementing the summer curriculum•Provide support to students in various educational activities•Help maintain an organized and positive learning environmentFull attendance is required for the entirety of the 30-day program.
