Description:Maintain up-to-date files, and track certification(s), license(s), CPR certifications and First Aid certifications of all staff.Maintain manual and computerized personnel records, and maintain confidentiality of all records.Maintain and update fingerprint clearance of all employees.Prepare employment verification letters.Verify and enter proof of mentoring into TEACH system.Update nVision with personnel changes/updates (i.e. Name, address, college degrees, and certifications)New Employee packages – verify I-9 Identification/complete form. Responds to inquiries and type letters regarding employment verification.Make sure all employees receiving Board recommendations have fingerprint clearance and are certified, where necessary. Verify vacancies and postings before creating a recommendation.Review all Board recommendations pertaining to Personnel and forward to Supervisor.Prepare notifications to employees for all approved recommendations/appointments by the Board.Update NVision for all Personnel changes (Board recommendations, name/address changes, enter all in-service and graduate courses, college degrees, certifications, etc.)Forward updates on Teachers, Paraprofessional Staff members, and Clerical Staff employee information to AESOP.Civil Service reports: prepare annual payroll certification report; CS 150 (civil service changes); and update or create new duties statements (job description form).School District Coordinator for OLAS (Online Application System) and Human Resources email account. Scan/screen resumes/applications and forward to Administrators of tenure area (pending vacancies and needs of the department). Post job vacancies on OLAS, internally and if necessary in the newspaper; compile candidate information for administrators for upcoming vacancies. Arrange interviews if necessary.Maintain resumes by certification area. Respond to applicants on behalf of the district.Review all courses to ensure they were not used previously and cross reference with certifications and/or official transcripts.Prepare packet for Administrator’s approval of salary increment increase request.Miscellaneous duties as assigned by District Office Administration.Thank you for your interest in Port Jefferson UFSD.
