Position: Teaching Assistant/LifeguardQualification(s): Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED and Teaching Assistant certification required. Duties: Lifeguard (during PE class): 1. Maintains constant surveillance of students in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency2. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services3. Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service4. Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility5. Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Teaching Assistant (when lifeguarding is not necessary):1. Assist classroom teachers in meeting student needs in the classroom.2.
