We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Secondary Technology Teacher to join our faculty and inspire the next generation of digital leaders. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will bring expertise in teaching technology to secondary-level students and a commitment to helping learners, explore and develop skills in areas such as fundamental industrial art skills, wood working, coding, robotics, video media, architecture drawing, and emerging technologies. This part-time position is perfect for an educator who thrives in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will encourage creativity and critical thinking while guiding students through both the technical and artistic aspects of digital and design-based learning. Key Responsibilities: - Develop engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that integrates practical and theoretical aspects of technology. - Support student learning through hands-on projects, coding activities, and the use of digital tools. - Collaborate with faculty to integrate technology across the curriculum. Qualifications: - Valid NYS Certification in Technology Education. - Experience teaching technology at the middle or high school level preferred. - Strong classroom management and communication skills. - Familiarity with STEM/STEAM initiatives. - Passion for innovation and interdisciplinary teaching.
