The Phoenix Central School District currently has an opening for a School Business Administrator. Acceptable candidates for the position must have New York State Administrative Certification at the District Level (SDBL or SBA). The District seeks a candidate with a record of successful experience in the tasks related to school finance. They must also have experience in preparing capital and operations budgets, fiscal reporting, long range budgetary planning, risk management and fiscal control and management within the realm of New York State Education Law and New York State Education Department rules and regulations. They must also have working knowledge of the transportation, facility maintenance, and food services operations related to the New York State public school district.Skills and AbilitiesAdditional skills and abilities should include, but are not limited to, the following:Evidence of strong conceptual, analytical, organizational and managerial skills; Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and develop cost effective and efficient solutions;Evidence of exemplary interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with all staff and the community;Evidence of effective leadership, vision, presence, collaboration, technological proficiency, and exemplary communication, facilitation and organizational skills.Phoenix Central Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer
