Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 1, 2026 through August 11, 2026. Special Education Teacher candidates are needed to provide instruction to school-aged students.  Must have the ability to function as a positive and contributing member of our BOCES team.To begin July 1, 2026 (Only those who can work the full 6-week program and those who are available to attend the ESY Orientation on June 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM need apply).Qualifications: Appropriate NYSED certification in Special Education K-12 or Students with Disabilities.Characteristics Desired: Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities.  Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students.  Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
