Duties: Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for Teacher Aides for the 2025-2026 school year to work with students with disabilities in a variety of programs. The position requires an ability and willingness to assist students in areas such as: managing behavior, lifting and assisting to enable all self-care activities, mobility, communication, therapies, and feedings.Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, and an equivalent amount of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to perform the work.Characteristics Desired: Ability to positively manage student behavior in a school setting. Must have good interpersonal skills, be organized, dependable, and have the ability to work in a team environment.
